This beautiful region enjoys a moderate climate. With maximum temperatures ranging from 20°C to low 30°C during summer (December to February) and fall to 17°C to 20°C during winter (June to August).
Minimum temperatures vary from 8°C to 10°C in winter and average approximately 16°C in summer.

Summer is primarily hot and dry, with rainfall mainly confined to the winter months of May to September with an average annual rainfall of 825mm.

Autumn (March to May) and Spring (September to November) are particularly pleasant months to visit when the surrounding countryside is attractively green and the region is often blessed with sunny, moderate days.
